Terms of purchase
Prices
In the top menu you can choose which currency you want prices to be displayed in; this also includes the VAT for the selected country. At checkout you can see the total price for the entire order including VAT and any shipping.
Payment
All payments are handled via Shopify Payments, where you can choose one of the following options:
– Klarna
– Shop Pay (Apple Pay & Google Pay)
– PayPal
– Card payment with VISA, Mastercard and American Express
Returns & right of withdrawal
You always have a 14-day return period starting from the day you receive the item, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. If you wish to return your item, please contact support@soundbysweden.se for a return label. You as the buyer are responsible for the return shipping cost of 85 SEK. The product must be returned in unopened packaging, as earphones are classified as a hygiene product. For returns from countries outside the EU, please contact Sound by Sweden for further information.
Warranty and service
Products from Sound by Sweden are covered by a one (1) or two (2) year warranty. The warranty period is stated on the packaging and in the user manual and applies to material and manufacturing defects. Damage caused by misuse, dirt or negligence is not covered by the warranty. The earphones are not repairable.
For complaints and warranty matters, we refer you first to your place of purchase. For the store to handle your case, you must be able to present a valid proof of purchase for your product. If you bought the product in Sound by Sweden’s webshop, please send an email to support@soundbysweden.se and submit your claim there together with a copy of your proof of purchase for the defective product.
If the claimed product is deemed defective due to material or manufacturing faults, it will be repaired free of charge or replaced with a new product. After the warranty period has expired, Sound by Sweden cannot offer free repair or replacement.
We also offer accessories for our products, such as charging cables or charging cases. These can be ordered here. The accessories are available as long as the corresponding product is active and sold.
Delivery conditions
Delivery time
Sound by Sweden ships its products with PostNord and DHL, where you can choose between home delivery to your mailbox/door and delivery to a service point. The delivery time within Sweden for both services is 1–3 business days.
During delivery you can track your parcel in the PostNord app or at www.postnord.se by entering your tracking number, which you’ll find in your order confirmation email. For DHL you can track it in the “Mina paket” app or via their website www.dhl.com using the tracking number.
Please note that we only ship to EU countries.
PostNord MyPack Home Small
This service costs 29 SEK and is delivered directly to your mailbox. If the shipment does not fit in your mailbox/letter slot, it will instead be delivered to your door or in a bag attached to your mailbox. You will be notified when delivery at the door or in a bag on the box has been completed, and in the PostNord app you can also see a photo of the parcel once it has been delivered. This service is trackable and we insure the shipment up to the mailbox/door. Neither Sound by Sweden nor PostNord can therefore be held responsible for anything that happens to the parcel after it has been delivered. If the shipment goes missing during transport before it has been delivered, please contact us at Sound by Sweden for compensation.
DHL service point delivery
This service has a shipping fee of 39 SEK and is delivered to your nearest service point. You will receive an SMS notification as soon as your parcel is ready for pickup. To collect the parcel, you need to provide the 4-digit code you received and show your ID; if someone else collects it for you, both IDs must be shown. You can also identify yourself with BankID via the “Mina paket” app.
This service is trackable and we insure the shipment until it has been collected. If the parcel and/or its contents are damaged when you receive it, report this directly to the pickup point. If the shipment goes missing during transport, please contact us at Sound by Sweden for compensation.
For all parcels that are not collected before they are returned to us, Sound by Sweden charges the customer a fee of 300 SEK. The fee corresponds to the actual costs for return shipping, handling and administration. If you change your mind after the parcel has already been shipped from us, you must still collect it from the service point and then return it to Sound by Sweden. Contact our customer support to register the return at support@soundbysweden.se. If the parcel is not collected, it will automatically be registered as unclaimed and you will then be charged the fee mentioned above.
Competition conditions
Rules and conditions for Sound by Sweden's competitions on social media.
- When you participate in the competitions, you accept Sound by Sweden's competition rules and conditions.
- When you participate in a competition, you agree that we may may post your name, profile and contribution on the company's social media.
- The competitions are organized by Sound by Sweden and are not sponsored, organized, administered or linked to Instagram.
- To compete, you need to be at least 18 years old and resident in Sweden.
- The profile that you choose to compete from must be created in agreement with the respective platform's rules.
- Employees or close relatives of employees at Sound by Sweden may not join and participate in the competitions.
- We reserve the right to remove and report submissions deemed offensive, objectionable or illegal.
- Winners are selected by a jury from the marketing department at Sound by Sweden. The decision cannot be appealed.
- The winner will be announced and notified in the channel through which the competition has taken place.
- If the winner does not contact Sound by Sweden within 7 days of the competition ending, we have the right to appoint a new winner.
- You always participate free of charge in all competitions and Sound by Sweden is responsible for the shipping costs for delivery of prizes from the competitions.
- The winnings cannot be exchanged or withdrawn for cash. The winner pays any winnings tax.
