Noise cancellation with hybrid technology

The active noise reduction in combination with the tight-fitting ear pads isolate you from disturbing ambient noise. Airplane engines, voices from office colleagues, the din on the underground, are no longer a problem when you activate noise reduction with the simple press of a button. The integrated digital technology in SUPRA NiTRO-X filters out noise and lets you enjoy your music, podcast, film or audio conversation in isolation, wherever you happen to be. The feedback function facilitates continuous communication with your surroundings at voice level, so that you do not miss important announcements at an airport, train station etc.

In NiTRO-X we use hybrid technology to handle the active noise cancellation. There are a total of 4 microphones that are placed both on the inside and outside of the headphone covers. The external microphones filter out most of the disturbing ambient noise on the outside, while the microphones on the inside remove the lower frequencies before reaching the listener’s ears.

With the listening function activated (Transparency mode), you can easily communicate with your surroundings without having to take off your headphones. The function is activated with a simple push of a button and it is a much appreciated function by business travelers and office staff.

BreathTex© - Class-leading comfort

NiTRO-X is designed to give optimal comfort even when used for an extended period of time. The ear pads are made of SUPRA BreathTex© membrane material. The membrane expels heat and moisture while protecting against incoming moisture and disturbing ambient noise. SUPRA BreathTex© in combination with the strain relieved headband, the tough lightweight material and the rotating ear capsules make it possible to listen for many hours without the headphones becoming hot or uncomfortable.

Office Adapt© 4-way microphone technology

Our proprietary microphone technology Office Adapt© is developed to get a clean and clear conversational sound even if you are in a noisy environment with a lot of ambient noise. Microphones, software and processor work in parallel with each other to optimize sound recording. The software is based on an algorithm that reads how far away from the microphones the sound comes from. This way, you can let through only the user’s voice and block other, unwanted sounds from the environment. An important feature if you use headphones as a headset in an office environment.

35 hours of battery life

No matter if you are at work, at the gym or on a long flight, it is always annoying if the battery runs out. We have therefore used high-quality, high-performance batteries for the NiTRO-X which gives you a total playing time of up to 35 hours*. With noise reduction activated, you get up to 28 hours of battery time*.

The NiTRO-X has a proprietary fast-charging system called HyperCharge©. The system allows a full charge of the batteries in about un hour, giving a full 35 hours of playing time. 15 minutes of charging gives up to 6 hours of playing time, which can be very practical when intending to use the headphones during a workout and finding the battery is empty.

If the battery should however run out and you do not have the possibility to recharge the headphones, you can always use the supplied 3.5mm SUPRA Hifi audio cable and connect the headphones directly to your phone instead.

Total control

The button controls let you answer a call, adjust the volume and change track, activate your phone’s voice assistant, noise cancelling and Transpercy mode. NiTRO-X is compatible with, for e.g., Google Assistant® and Siri® as well as ready for other future voice assistant services.

The sound experience

The proprietary 40 mm driver, SBS40Dv.2, lets you experience a powerful and well-balanced sound thanks to the wide frequency range. The sound characteristics are based on the test-winning NiTRO concept that lets you experience everything from the lowest base lines to the highest notes. Everything in a correct and high fidelity reproduction that you can enjoy to a maximum in your music, movie, podcast or whatever you prefer to listen to.
